I'm upgrading to a JDM Piano Black and Leather steering wheel, and I was wondering if anyone had any insight on where to get the replacement plastic trim pieces that are in the center of the wheel? Or do I just plastidip? I'd rather buy actual black pieces. Also, to change the color of the toyota emblem, I imagine that is just glued on? Has anyone done that? I'd imagine that will have to be plastidip, but can I remove it easily or do I just keep it on, kind of like when I dip the outside badges?
From the manufacturer, they only come in 1) the familiar silver, 2 ) a darkened silver on the Personal trim, 3) the G-Sport trim which is a dark smoked gray. That image above looks painted to me.
How in the world... that looks really good! And did you remove the Toyota emblem from the wheel? If so, how, and how did you reattach it? You're whole setup looks great. center emblem is not removable unfortunately. I wrapped the entire horn assembly when hydrodipping that tiny emblem. i do all my mods myself. only thing I didn't do is my window tints. and no... unfortunately, I'm 1 of the very few not from Cali
