I've had my Prius 2013 for about 9 months now with no Bluetooth issues. All of a sudden, it's having a tough time connecting. Any advice? iPhone ?
Is the phone connected to anything else at the same time? I had problems connecting to my Gen 3 when I bought a smartwatch. I have to disconnect that first before I can make or receive a call through the car's Bluetooth. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Yeah, I have an. Apple watch too, but I've never had issues with it before. I'll try restarting the iPhone and see if that helps at all. Good advice, thanks! iPhone ?
Very curious if you got it to work!? When my phone updated to IOS 10, it would sync to car, but then incoming calls would answer, then switch back to radio for a few seconds (switch from car to handset), then the call would switch back to car. Tried several different iphones all running IOS 10. Same annoying problem. After 4 months of trouble shooting with Apple and Toyota, got an Android, no problems.
I did initially have problems with the IOS 10.2.1 but removed and redid the bluetooth...so my phone syncs with my radio..for phone calls...the music issue (pandora...other audio apps (imaschine) that use to work with car bluetooth are not being recognized by the radio at all so I use the aux in anyway..gotta wait for the new update???? to have them work.
I restarted my iPhone, as recommended, and can happily say that it's back to working normally! iPhone ?
