We had this situation happen in the back of our Prius C and after taking out the kids' car seats we found extensive seat damage We probably need to have the car taken in to get checked for damage on the wires right?
We have problems with pack rats here in Arizona, they will chew through anything and everything: insulation, split loom, wiring, hoses, etc. While I agree with Bisco to a degree, electrical problems can take time to manifest if the rat didn't fully destroy anything. Better to take it in and have a shop look it over before something breaks IMO
