Nice. Are those the expensive alloy wheels or did you just take off your hubcaps?

They're a Toyota dealer accessory option.

Meet Pearl. Picked her up at Fitzgerald Toyota in Gaithersburg Maryland on Monday. Got her for $1,451 below MSRP :) The dealerships claim is that they will beat anyone's price "within the region" buy a $100. You can fly into one of three major airports and the salesperson will pick you up (either Dulles National Reagan National or Baltimore BWI)

    Congrats, and do tell:
How did "we'll beat others by $100" turn into $1,451 below MSRP ?

They've got good pricing and good availability. I told Serge exactly the color and interior I was looking for and the model and he found one from a smaller dealer in the region and traded for it. If you do price a vehicle with Fitzgerald be sure you add the $299 dealership handling fee that's a little bit higher than some dealers charge and it makes the asking price from the dealer look low but even after adding the 299 dealership processing fee they were still the best deal I could find

Do we need to start referring to you as "PP"?

Pulled the trigger tonight on a Titanium Glow Plus. Picking it up tomorrow. Been waiting since September. Not much in the way of deals on the left coast. MSRP minus $400 +0.9 financing.

I currently drive almost 1k mi/wk, so I will be gathering mpg data quickly. I will not be able to do as much EV as others have written about due to the distances I drive.

Something to brag about.. Was behind a fully charged volt gen 1 in 32 degree weather. Noticed her tailpipe shooting out smoke while I enjoyed my ev mode and heat pump. We both charged outside.

Who got the better ev range that day with less battery?

The Pacifica hybrid uses resistive heating as well. Will miss the heatpump there, but considering it's a minivan there's huge efficiency potential gains..

Have just ordered a UK Prius PHV, Excel model in Spirited Aqua. That's a Prime Advance in U.S. equivalent.

Delivery early April but dealer 99% certain can register it by end of March and beat the (ridiculous) changes in UK V.E.D. or annual Road Tax.

Thanks Prius chat folk for all the discussions that helped me decide. Will post review shortly based on two great drives over the weekend in one of the first in the UK (excluding those made available to journalists).

With the help of Toyota UK I was one of the first in the UK to have this opportunity to test drive it, despite living way up North, in the least populated county in England!
