I'm wondering if anyone is unaffected by the recall. If there are enough who don't get the recall notice, perhaps we can draw some conclusions. Of course, it's rather difficult to know when to answer "no" but a third answer of "not yet" didn't seem worthwhile.

The "TMS USA" poster made it quite clear that the recall notices would be mailed out over a 5 to 6 week period, starting only 2 weeks ago. I have not recieved my notification at this time, but I know that my Prius is within the recall period. So, I think your poll is rather premature to find out anything worthwhile.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(JackDodge @ Jun 19 2006, 12:16 PM) </div> Okay, if you say so. I'll just withhold my vote until my recall notice comes in the mail.
I just called 1800-GO-TOYOTA, and they confirmed that my VIN is being recalled. But gotta wait for the parts to arrive at my local dealership.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(AnOldHouse @ Jun 19 2006, 12:28 PM) </div> Well, I got home today and guess what was waiting for me in the mailbox. I just voted "yes."
oh boy- i'll bet we have a few people who end up wanting to change their vote to "yes" ours was in the recall, and DH took care of it last week.
I put no.. The manufacture date on the door is 12/05. As I understand it, the recall affects manufacture dates up to 11/05.
The manufacture date on ours is 3/06, well outside the recall range, so I'm saying no. Besides, kind of embarrassed to admit it, I had also checked the 1-800 number to verify that ours wasn't on the list.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(tanteb & rgrpick @ Jun 19 2006, 07:54 PM) </div> My manufacture date was 1/06, hence the no vote.
