Hello. I have 2 sets of original LED headlights ( round 2010-2011 design ) and will sell only one of them which go first, second I will keep for myself. First - JDM with clear corners without corner lights. One headlight has one fixed tab, second one have missing mount on the bumper side. This does not affect at all, still installed on my car with japanese wire converters . Comes with LED ballasts, bulbs. Bought it 6-month ago from Japan. Second - USDM set, one headlight has one fixed tab and small minor scratches on one side, need some buffing. Comes with LED ballasts, bulbs. Both sets are not perfect, have wear like some rocknicks, scratches, etc but in much better condition than all what I saw on ebay last year. Some buffing will help. Last 3 month I can't decide which set to keep. I also have two wireharnes pigtails from both JDM headlights, and one from USDM headlight thats will help to make converters without cut car wire. Detailed pictures coming soon... Will help with installation in SoCal area.
Sorry, forgot about prices yesterday. Did some pictures. JDM $800 USDM $850 Comes with bulbs, ballasts, 2 pigtails of original wire harnes, and H11 xenon wires to make a PiP converter.
hmmm, am I missing something? arent usdm just the stock oem lights? I see those run for 100-150 on craiglist and ebay.
Yeah, you're missing something. These are the LED headlights from the level 5, not the halogen headlights you see for much less.
ohh no wonder, I saw he had 2010-11 pri so I just assume they stock halogen lights lol Im like, 850 for stock lights? wth?! lol thanks for the clarification.
Yep... Original LED headlights for Prius are so expensive. If you check ebay will found only housings in not repairable condition (hard scrathes on face plastik, broken non replacement tabs, flooded ) for near $200 or 200+ each or housings in repairable condition close to $300-350 each ( one or two broken repairable tabs, some light scratches), than ballsts each close to $200, than go to dealer or online to find tabs repair kit and other parts, like screws, ballasts gaskets, etc... I checked ebay, craig, junkyards more than one year to find LED, it's really rare to find used. But difference between LED and halogen are huge. Halogen are peace of shit, with china xenon in halogen projectors too only looks cool ) I found a thread here https://priuschat.com/threads/3rd-gen-holiday-part-out-new-and-used-items.174325/ For the same headlights asked $1800! less than 4 month ago. I also have my stock 2011 halogen headlights all tabs and mount intact, with bulbs, they are need some buffing from haze reasons, $100 both.
I love em too. Be careful though, if you try to assemble a set yourself, the 2010-2011 lights take different ballasts vs the 2012-2015 style. Also Toyota molded screen bosses into the headlamp housings so all the "important" tabs can be bolted on if the original ones get broken. Important being the ones that mount the light to the body. The tabs for holding the bumper and grille to the headlight don't fall under that category. iPhone ?
