lWasn't sure exactly where to put this so its landing here. I attended a show about 6 hours south of me in Tennessee earlier this year called Stoopicold put on by SlammedEnuff. Ok...now as i understand my canadian Prius doesn't have those drl..there's no bulb in this lower part of the flasher...my drl are dimmed high beam headlights..which is ugly now with the low-powered halogen bulb
This is a 12g (maybe 14g?) wire - it'd be better with 18g or maybe 20g. Not pretty, but it's covered up anyways.
You should use a fuse tap like one of these instead of shoving a wire down one of the fuse conductors:
Yeah, I have one shipping to me now. I thought I had some at work, but they were the "normal" fuse size - not mini. Amazon has 5 packs for ~$7.
The regular mini ATM, non low profile ones will also fit. I believe it will stick out just about the same. The only downside is that you need to have some of the mini ATM fuses handy, which I do.
