    I wanted to buy a Priuschat decal in the Priuschat store to spread the word, but I think it's absolutely disgusting for me to be paying $6.95 to have a piece of paper sent to me.

    End

    If it's too expensive, don't get one. Simple as that. ;)

    Now I'm interested. Hmm: shows as $3.00? (n)

    Plus shipping??

    It's not a piece of paper. It is probably cut vinyl. By the time one cuts and weeds it and applies the application tape, probably 15 minutes has been invested. Plus materials. Plus shipping. $6.95 sounds reasonable to me. However, you could just use a piece of paper (10 cents) make your own.

    I just looked. As @Mendel Leisk said, the decal is $3, which I think isn't bad at all. I didn't go far enough into the checkout process to discover the shipping cost, but I'd guess that that's the complaint. Whether the shipping is $3.95 or $6.95, I don't know. But, depending on the shipping method, either could be reasonable or not.

    It's probably for the best. Those who do order the new style - apparently the only one that's still available, get impatient while waiting for the weeks & weeks it seems to take - for the order to get fulfilled. That's according to the threads created about ordering several items from the store. I got an item called "Dice" from the store - don't know if they still sell 'em;
    Prius iPod Adapter, Prius iPod Integration, Prius IPod Car Kit, Toyota IPod Car Adapter, IPod Kit, iPod Interface for Toyota| JuicedHybrid.com
    & yeah, it took quite a long time - followed up with a few - shall we say, 'reminder' emails ?

    I keep trying to get some of our local vendors to laser engrave the PRIUSchat logo onto a S&W rear cover plate, because I think that they would sell like HOTCAKES......

    Unfortunately, I can't get them to return my calls...... :(

    It's not a matter of being too expensive, as I can certainly afford it. It's the justification for the shipping price.

    Shipping alone is $6.95.

    I machined my own 1911 a couple years ago. wondered if laser etching the design below would be an issue;

    The greek symbol for '300' looks like a 'T' anyway - and the ATF likes serial #'s . . . even stuff that comes off your own Bridgeport.

    no wonder he charges so much, the last thing danny needs is more members. he'd just have to increase server space.

    Very Impressive!
    I'll stick with spud guns for now although I'm going to tinker with an anti-drone (or feline) net gun...............someday..........when I get some free time.
    Build A Net Gun

    I'd probably be be a little more careful with one of Elon's trademarks.
    He might be nastier than the BATF in this regard.

    Naaah.
    I read his bio and he's an interesting guy.
    VERY committed to his ideas and to be fair he decided to open Tesla's patents, with a promise not to sue anyone for using them. Some have opined that it wasn't done for "altruistic" reasons, but to help Tesla, and there's a "goof faith" caveat buried in there somewhere too.
    Still.....a promise is a promise - right?
    At least.....until it's not.
    Somebody down at Tesla motors thought at least enough about the patents to plaster an "I love me" wall with them.

    Tesla is one of Elon's children, and although he's shown a willingness to nearly sacrifice that child in order to save another (SpaceX) Elon's personality is just a bit too prickly to bank on not getting a lawyer letter if you decide to make a Tesla edition 1911.....or SpaceX undergarments, etc...

    I think your best choice then, is getting a Priuschat tattoo.
