Hi all, Branch or two fell on my 2005 Prius last week and totaled the car. Thought I'd see if anyone here might take it up as a project. Insurance will deduct just over $900 if I keep it so I'm looking for a bit more than that, otherwise it goes to them. It's been a great car - bought it from my folks so I'm the 2nd owner. Under 146k miles. BAD: roof on drivers side has pretty severe dent; windshield also completely cracked. Hood too will probably need to be replaced. Also, with all cars this age and mileage, there is some age related wear - some rust, scratches, etc. GOOD: Brand new, Michelin Premieres as of November. Probably less than 1k miles. I also did a stereo mod - has a Kenwood 900 series in dash, alpine amp in trunk, subwoofer, and focal speakers. Also, just replaced the aux battery with Optima yellow top in September. I wish I was closer and could buy the car. But no such luck. I am interested in some of the parts, though. Stereo, seat covers, visor, etc Feel free to call me if you are able to part with some things.
