i think people used cardboard for the pip screen.

 

I guess you can consider getting a screen protector for iPad PRO 12.9 inch model and cut to size.

 

I'm thinking of using a black towel.

When the display is turned off and the radio is scanning stations, does the display momentarily come back on and display info for each radio station?

 

I just ordered one from Amazon.

 

@Bobdski, which one did you order if you don't mind sharing? Is it the actual screen protector? I saw one on Amazon sold by PCProfessional but haven't been persuaded enough to give it a shot yet....
