Just once I want to see an expected database error.

This site has gone ballistic again! Launch, Launch, Launch . . . database error each time.

"An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later." is baaaaccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkk

I have been seeing random database errors over the last couple of days.
Apparently, they wait for things to totally break before trying to remedy the situation.
At least, I *hope* they are trying to remedy the situation.

 

Anyone else getting these incessant errors? I've had about 50 of them this morning.

 

Yes. Most every page change. It started yesterday afternoon for me.

 

Just for the record (since these threads stay around for a while), this error is coming up on the PriusChat website, not on the Prius Prime itself.

 

I hope so. It took 16 tries to get this page to load properly. I'll be back later this afternoon to see if the site works again.

 

There is a sub-forum for reporting problems with the forum software or hardware........and this is NOT IT.

 

Yesterday and today... site was getting 0mpg.

 

Early this morning it alternated between bad and totally gone. Ok now. But how come? This is a pereneal occurrence.

 

Hmmm... Two pages in a row loaded first try. Are we on a roll? If so, Thank-You, whoever fixed it.

 

I think the Prius Fairy got back to work...

 

Me as well yesterday. Today seems a bit better though.

 

When you went to sleep, the gremlins came out!

 

Gee, I thought I was the gremlin!

 

1) it is all Danny's fault. PriusChat is a one man show. So it HAS to be his fault.

2) Danny has to sleep.

3) Danny is not living to the profits of PriusChat, so he has to have a day job.

4) Danny has to purge all the 21 year old females from New York who spam PriusChat

5) Danny may have a social life. (It COULD happen)

6) If you can't live with the above, just withhold all the money you have been sending him to keep this running.

 

...and if I was REPORTING a problem I would have used that forum. I had only asked if others were experiencing it. I'm not surprised by your snappy reply. Its just like some of the other messages you have posted in other threads. Have a nice day.

 

I have NEVER gotten an unexpected database error on any Prius.

This web site is run by one man, Danny. He does not take donations, or employ a staff. I assume he sleeps sometimes, and has a day job to pay for this. As unlikely as it seems, he may have a family life and/or social life. He means well, but he is just one guy. I bet he gets to fixing this before March.
