I am SO excited. Today, I FINALLY got over 500 miles on a tank of gas. I was down to one pip, and it wasn't flashing yet. When I filled up, it took 10.4 gallons. This is soooooo cool! Peace --
I just had my first 600 mile tank the other day! I was at 59.6mpg when i pulled in to the gas station. and i filled up about 10.9 gallons of gas. I usually avg right around 500 miles per tank, but i did a lot of city driving instead of highway the last couple of weeks which kept it that high.
Congrats. I'm working on my third in a row. I'm at 420 miles and three pips so I should make it. Keep it up and see how many you can string together.
A woman at work was telling me that her Ford Explorer takes $50 of fuel each visit to the station. Around 15 mpg, times 17 gallons/fillup -- good for ~ 250 miles. I wonder if it is possible to see the fuel gauge move every time the car comes off a red light ?
Just finished mysecond tank on Friday. 511 miles. The last pip was flashing. I put 9.555 gallons in it.
