The orange O-ring in the base of my 2013 charger is starting to look like a mobius strip, i.e. all crinkled and twisted. And at times makes it very hard to get the final click in the connection. I am assuming I should just pull it out because--- I saw in the Can't Disconnect charger thread that Bisco said: "if the o ring has dislodged, remove and discard." My Question: if I pull it out, do I need to be particularly concerned about rain or snow melt (common in MT) getting into the charger??
