If just the circular grip is fading/peeling but the rest of the wheel, buttons, etc. are okay, then getting a steering wheel cover would be a comparatively inexpensive fix.

 

Was about to purchase the black wood on Rakuten but it says the item is sold out, does anyone know where else I can get these?

yea those all look good but myself i have a 07 prius looking to change the steering wheel to an after market nrg steering wheel and hub adapter to take off the wheel .... but i think if i took the wheel off for the one im gonna put the triangle of death would pop up because the wires wouldnt connect to anything at all what do you guys think ??!! the steering wheel would be a nrg wood grain steering wheel that i would love to put into the car ( just incase you guys were wondering which steering would be) i will probably just get it and let you guys know how it goes next month or i will ask a buddy of mine thaat knows his stuff in the prius

 

Got it done nothing pops up evrything is fine drives even better well atleastt for me it felt a diifrence got evrything fine and no airbag light if you do evrything corrcet

 

Got any pictures or write up of how it was installed?
