    Thanks for that.

Even with third gen's physical button I'm not that happy, because I still need to look down after pushing the button, study a diminutive LCD display, figure out which little icon is being displayed, fresh vs recirc. I won't be happy till I've got a simple right/left toggle, can just reach down and slide it to my preference. And I know that's not coming back, sadly.

I miss the old temperature lever as well. Just slide the lever a bit to adjust it. Even when the system is off. Now I have to turn the system on adjust the temp then turn it back off all while reading tiny LCD screens that if I'm wearing polarized sunglasses I also have to take them off. Very unsafe and removes way too much attention from the road.

Should've gotten the 2nd Gen lol. It showed the recirc button up on the dash (along with the two defrosters and the AUTO A/C)

What is the low temp light for? Is low temp bad?

Yeah the manual could use a better explanation. The picture's more to the point, lol.

It came on when the outside temperature was 37F or lower; this is the temperature at which it is possible for ice to form on the road.
The light was in the cluster with the speedometer. Unlike other cars that flash the driver a warning about this temperature, this light would stay on the entire time for the whole winter. Some have pulled out the black electrical tape.

Just a gentle reminder that we are here, and we are listening - even if we don't have any news to share. :)

@Trollbait pretty much covered it. That light is just a reminder that even though it's above freezing, black ice can still occur if the conditions are right.

It was removed for Gen 3 but it's back for Gen 4. However, it does flash for a while then goes away, unlike the Gen 2.

Yeah it's temporary on the Gen 4 now.

OK, my first 3 days of driving the Prime to work (after 4 yrs. of driving a V). Trying different scenarios.
72 mi. round trip 75% hwy - 25% local (charge at home but no charge at work).
    Day 1: 87.10
    Day 2: 102.65
    Day 3: 100.65
    Prius V: 241 fill ups: 51.6 reported 48.86 actual.
I have a lot to learn, but very impressed!

I read on Prius Chat that the Prime was expected to be available in all markets at the release date. I checked with my local Foothills Toyota in Burlington, WA last week and was told they cannot get the car. I emailed Toyota nationally about that and was told they are not available in all markets, but they didn't give me any idea when it would be available here. Oregon and California have them, but not Washington. Bummer.

I drive in Eco and EV Mode (not auto)
I got home from work with a few miles of battery, but not enough to go out to dinner and get back home.
At around 0.6 battery miles left, the ICE started. Why so Early?
The miles went down to 0.5, then 0.4, then back up 0.5, 0.6, 0.7.
At 0.8 the EV symbol came back on and the ICE stopped. I didn't think it had time to warmup. Strange it stopped.
The battery miles dropped again and the ICE started again.
It cycled a few more times before I got home.

I need to understand what was happening.

Is this only on the jbl system. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to do this. I do not have those options when I go to settings. Or is this a USA thing

Sorry deleted the post link. The split screen on the 11.4 mine does not give me the options that the video shows
