 Not really. Not yet anyway. I was discussing with someone at work how the Prius brake pads should last the life of the car and had a thought. Just think if everyone had a Prius. The brake shops would be out of business.

They used to be primarily a muffler shop. I used to replace mufflers every two years back in the 60s and 70s. I can't remember when I've had to replace one. It has been several cars ago.
I would not mind Midas going out of business at all. I had a horrible experience with them and numerous friends as well. They are always finding something wrong during a simple brake pad job. I went in for a brake job with 45,000 miles on my Jeep and said that my calipers were shot and needed to be rebuilt as well as needing new rotors. I know the rotors could have been turned and fixed but just went with it and told them forget it about the calipers. Took it to my Jeep dealer and they said the calipers were fine. As I already said, I think everyone that I have talked to have had to have extra work done when just getting new pads......will never go back to them for anything!
