So I was in So Cal yesterday, stopped in to Carson Toyota (where I purchased 2 Pips in 2013). I must say what an awesome vehicle. Suspension is tight. Acceleration is very good.
Thanks for the impressions! Can't wait until mine comes in to heathen country (Austin, TX: a tiny blue blue dot in a sea of red!). "Tight" (suspension) in what sense of the term? Did you get to compare acceleration in EV mode vs. HV? If so, how would you compare them?
Steering felt like a sports car. No rattles or brake noise. Unfortunately it was not charged. So I could not test it in EV. It had a lot of power. Floored it.

Cool! We're shooting for "blizzard pearl" or red (whatever they're calling red in this case!). However, my wife yesterday said that "blue magnetism" might work too. We're lined up at Round Rock Toyota, to be specific, probably coming in in a month or so...

It would be awesome if we could meet briefly somewhere - perhaps at a restaurant where I can buy you lunch - and see your new beast! More to the point, my wife and I would like to see the "blue magnetism" color in person. I like it personally, but my wife is not sure yet.

After seeing this in the inventory at Victory Toyota in Canton Michigan, I headed out first thing Monday morning to see it. I called on the way and was shocked shocked to find that they sold it last week. It is still showing up on their site. Instead my wife and I ordered a blue Advanced from Dunning Toyota in Ann Arbor. The salesperson is pretty confident we can get one in 1 or 2 months. We'll see.
well, I tried, sorry you weren't able to snatch it up. I got mine from Suburban Toyota in Troy Mi. only two were available mine (Blue Magnetism Moonstone) and A Red Advanced both sold very quickly. The one at Victory had a black interior (what I wanted) but caved into the Moonstone. You never know with these cars when one will be available and in your desired flavor.Update: I did a carfax report on that car at Victory, so far there's no record of it being sold. here's the VIN JTDKARFP6H3000447
I don't think they all do but Carmax in Laurel, MD is affiliated with Laurel Toyota right across the street. I can sell my old Prius to Carmax and take a short walk to pick up my new Prius Prime!
