Hello! I'm one of the managers at a Toyota store in the Gulf States Region! I had a customer back out of the vehicle purchase for a Prius Prime Advanced! The color is going to be Magnetic Gray Metallic Advanced model that is currently in-transit to the Vehicle Processing Center. Considering the fact, that at this time the Prius Prime is Special Order only, there really isn't enough of an allocation to justify it.
understood. i have been quite surprised to see it offered in so many area's of the country, and even discounts on top of that.
i know, that's what dianne out at carson toyota said. but if you read the pricing thread, people got some great deals. almost as if the dealers were dumping them. makes no sense.
Just got an email from Baxter Toyota in Lincoln, NE. They will have a Prime on site in a couple days. They got it from NY for a customer. I had told them to notify me if one came in so I could look at it before the owner took it away. So some progress is being made...but only with trades with other dealerships it seems.... if the dealership wants to put the effort into it.
True but it's a manufacturer discount, not a dealer discount. TMS is offering a $1,000 but I guess GST doesn't participate in that. You can get that $1,000 off if you're outside the GST region. (No idea if SET offers the manufacturer rebate or not).
The salesman I'm working with here (ma) was wondering why nh was excluded from the 1000 from Toyota, when many of the surrounding states got it. He speculated that state that were "green states" got the deal. It's all over in Feburary anyway.
