Hey guys, my motor has bad compression in two pistons(like 88 pounds at start up in piston 1 bad) and misfires in those same pistons. Is there any oil additive or cheap fix for that. My car just rolled over 200k and I would like to keep the motor in it longer. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
You can get used engine for 600-800 $ and it is not so hard to replace if you have time and place.....going on additive will just lead to more problems Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Look with camera inside of bad cylinder walls....before you go to some additive....if you have clean cylinder walls ...then you need addative to eliminate buildup on compression rings.....HOT SHOT is good addative Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

There is cheap type of cameras made exactly for this type of purpose and to see inside is taking spark plug out and stick this tool i have mentioned to see inside Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
