Found a high mileage loaded 2013 I couldn't pass up. A Prius 4 with Sunroof, solar, remote a/c, etc. 125k miles for under $10k Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Bought for my daughter. She's driving us home right now. Weather permitting, I'll post a pic of all 3 Prii together Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I checked the VIN on the Toyota owners app. All scheduled services done at the dealer, even the tires. Not sure how the heck somebody can drive so many miles a year, but it drove the price down to a point I just couldn't pass it up. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Had to go about 90 miles from home for this one. My other 2 came from my local dealer. I've never been one to buy high mile cars. Now I've bought 2 in the past few months Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Yesterday's addition. Barely visible in the background is our '09. Rainy day. Mine (profile pic) is in the garage
Looks good! Was this purchased from a dealer? When you say under $10k are you saying $9,999.99? Or more like $9,000.01? I have been considering a 2013-2014, or even 2015 if the price is right, and still keep my 2010 as well, but haven't found any amazing deals in my area (other than a 2010 for $2,995).
$9800 at a new car (Honda) dealership. It's probably worth noting that the town I bought this in is best known for 2 things: 1) being a rural farming area, and 2) being near a military base. A Prius is not really a hot seller around there. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Seems to me like the resale on these cars is awful, which is great for used car shoppers. My brother just got his '13 Persona model with 44k miles for around 14k. We got our '14 Prius Five with 23k on the clock for under 18k 6 months ago. Would be maybe a little less now. The new car MSRP for it was over 30k. I'd hate to be the sucker that lost 50% of their value in a two years.
Cheap gas = low resale on gas misers. Expensive gas = cheap gas hogs. Nothing new Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Yep, now is the time to pick these cars up! My buddy just traded in his 3 year old truck with almost 40k miles for a new truck and got an amazing trade in value because of the "high demand" Still considering getting a 2nd prius with lower miles. Or may just hold out for a used 4th gen
