Spent the morning rewiring my BirdsEye system with one of these ...

I programmed it to give me an additional 15 seconds of BirdsEye view after the reverse signal is off. That comes in handy for parallel parking when you're in R then D, R then D, R ... and so on. This way I get a constant BirdsEye when doing some tight maneuvering.

finally replaced the original sun visor with one that has an extension...

 

There's a thread about that somewhere around here. I decided not to pursue it because of the reasons. Evidently you were undeterred.

 

I guess it's hard to do? I'm interested to see what's involved.

There are other threads too.

As I recall, there were issues with them not being conveniently interchangeable. (i.e. I couldn't just swap out the extendable visor from my wife's Yaris.) It turns out that it's not a mistake that the low end cars have the visor extender and the more feature rich cars don't. The side curtain airbags are not compatible. So, I decided not to pursue it. I don't want to survive a crash but end up being scarred by a visor extender.

 

where can i order this emblem?

 

Pretty bright if you ask me. Stock projectors with DDM 55W HID's. Next on the todo list is swap out the hazy projectors lenses with clear lenses and call it a day.

Some sad news when I was on my way from Sacramento to LA. Some random ripped off tire was sitting on the road and the pickup truck in front of me ran over it. The tire started to bounced and I can't avoid it. Just sent my baby to the shop on Monday and hope they will give me a facelift upgrade lol
