I accidently curbed my tire and it popped, so I got a new one from the dealer, but anyone else experience other problems with it, such as potholes? especially in los angles in the city, there are so many potholes that I am finding I try to avoid them as much
35,000 miles on mine and they're holding up fine. I avoid potholes as much as possible though, and I haven't curbed mine. Based on the treadwear rating I thought they'd be done by 25,000 miles, but I'm guessing I'll get somewhere around 45-50K out of them, if not more.
I drive in London daily, where potholes galore and drive over 50-100 speed bumps every day. My Nanoenergy tyres are coping fine.
I had a nail in one of mine somewhere in Sept I think it was but I don't feel any other tire would've done better.
Forgetting what I had on my Gen 3 Two since they're finally gone but I got over 57,000 miles on those suckers!
Developed a side wall bubble on my front left tire after running over a larger pothole near lax. It was a pothole that was at the bottom of an off ramp from the main airport terminal. Right after I ran over it I knew it wasn't Bueno for my car. Stepped outside and inspected tire and looked fine but at my 5000 mile service the dealer pointed out the bubble to me. Called toyo tire to take advantage of their limited warranty and despite it being caused by an impact they covered the full price of the tire at one of their authorized tire dealers. I just had to pay about 30 dollars? For installation and tpms reset. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I got a piece of metal in one and I don't think the tire lost any air. It was able to be patched and it is fine. I would say they are noisy but mabe that is because the Prius gets really quiet most of the time.
