My 2010 workhorse Prius threw a shoe. It's lost, and it got me thinking... are there good looking wheel covers that improve mileage (like moon style) available for the Prius? I think my wheels are the 15 inch ones (base model) and I would have no problem getting plastic caps, and painting them. Advice? It's the silver color Prius, so I know silver is good, so is black, so is metallic silver. Please post pictures, links, whatever, so I can get an idea about the styles. I would be replacing all four wheel caps.

The stock rims depth of the lip is different from most hubcaps or wheelcovers so you may not have any luck. I tried looking with no luck.

Nice looking. As a seasoned photoshop expert, I can try out new looks. Personally, I would use a brushed lenticular chrome metallic look, even if I had to paint it myself. I just wonder about the durability of such things. Thanks for responding.

Just out of curiousity, how much does the dealership charge for a single replacement wheel cover? Don't ask?

Rant: this was hands-down the main motivator to our going with Canadian Touring with the 17" rims. Stood on the lot and looked at 15" vs the 17" we got, that was it. I don't get Toyota's thought process on this.

I will be at my dealership tomorrow, and will look into the cost.

    Report from the dealership:
The wheel caps are $135 each, OEM.
Thinking about these, has anyone had experience with these kind of wheel caps?

    -Edit
The link I pasted in here seems to not work on Prius Chat.
If you search amazon for WSC-021S15 that's what I am looking at.

Groan. Maybe aftermarket will step in, create a replica: there's got to be a viable business model for this.

One of my 2016 wheel covers got damaged. I found a nearly new set of 4 on eBay. (Only 3 months old).
All four were only slightly more than ONE new cover from the dealer parts dept. You should be able to find plenty for a 2010 Prius on eBay.

The wheels look nice. Why not just pull the hubcaps off?

There's definitely a market for this. I got a set of replacement hubcaps for my last car (a 2007 Corolla), which perfectly matched the originals and cost $60 for a set of 4. These are the listings for a 2010 Prius from the company I ordered from: INeedAHubcap.com

I saw those, also looking at WSC-021S15 (these are selling now for about $25 for a set of 4)

The lip of the stock 2010-2015 is different from most stock rims. It has a shorter rise, thus most stock hubcabs won't work. Has anyone actually used these to see if they work?
