They told me 6-8 months!

I have been California dreaming! But taking multiple days off work, dealing with the logistics of trading in my current Prius, etc - just too much to deal with right now.

 

We must be really fortunate to have so many primes available in California. Autonation Cerritos, Longo and many other socal dealers have plenty of inventory coming in. A road trip wouldn't be such a bad idea!

I emailed Toyota headquarters with the question as to why the Midwest was being forgotten when people are more than willing to buy. Waiting for a reply.

 

6 to 8 months is unacceptable.

 

this is probably the first they've heard of it.

 

Everybody shopping in the Midwest is hearing that 6-8 months is the expected wait, and then only if one actually special orders a car. No dealers have booked orders for Primes. Chicago area is especially negative on the car. I hope the Prius Team reads this, because the situation is depressing.

 

Yeah, I'm in Kansas City and would buy one now; shut up and take my money. None to be had.
