Just noticed the rear speakers aren't working in my 2016 C1. Tried both CD and FM, adjusted fully to rear speakers, then to rear left, rear right and not even a mosquito hum. Anyone experienced something similar? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

The 2016 Prius C One has only four speakers. Some other trim versions have more speakers. If there are four in the front, there would be no rear speakers. The online brochure does not seem to list the speaker locations.
It's got 2 speakers at the front doors with 2 tweeters, rear doors got one speaker each. I remember tweaking the sound right the first day I got it and one other time I was trolling my daughter who was in the rear seat, I shifted all the sound to the rear speakers just to make her mad... anyway, will double check the manual and contact the dealer. The 2016 Prius c brochure lists 4 speakers for Trim One. If they are not in the rear doors, where are they located? EDIT: corrected model year from 2017 to 2016.
4 speakers are in the front doors, 2 are woofers and 2 are tweeters. C2 and up have 6 speakers = 2 more in the rear doors
And that's it, even though I could have swear that I heard the rear speakers, there is nothing behind the speaker grills at the rear doors. I can assure you I'm not taking medication, I did see a mental health professional after returning from Afghanistan in 2011 and would not hesitate to seek help if I believed I need it... I'm going to mark this off as part of my hearing problems, those I know I've had for a while, just wasn't expecting to hear things that aren't there, sorry for your time guys.
