Just a thought: no need to post odo pics exactly at 100,000 miles. I know it's momentous to see all those zeros, but play it safe: a pic at 100,042 is just as validating. What's it in kms, roughly 160,000.
2010 Prius, package 2. 195,000 miles Oil every 5-6K Mobil 1 and Toyota filter Tires every 60K Transmission fluid every 60K ICE and inverter coolant at 100K Spark plugs at 192K LR wheel bearing at 195K And lastly more headlamp bulbs than I can count. I drive a lot in the dark and they seem to last 6 months or so. I was running the Sylvania silverstars which were bright but died even quicker. My last car was a Geo Metro that I drove till 520K and sold. I hope the prius can beat it.
Mine just hit 100k miles a couple of days ago!!! I'll be replacing spark plugs soon along with tranny fluid replacement.
No history to report yet but, I bought a 2013 (Two) 2 days ago with 103,000 miles on it. (I traded in my 2004 Gen 2 that served me well for 8 years. It still runs perfectly but I wanted a newer car.) It has a complete service history at the dealer where it was sold new and where I bought it. And is was owned by a lawyer (little old lady) who apparently commuted every day on the turnpike to her office that is about 60 miles away. It appears to be in excellent condition except that the front bumper has some stone chips. I guess she likes to draft trucks.
Turned 100k in October, 2014. Currently at 132k. 1) Did you replace the HV battery pack? No 2) Did you replace the hybrid transaxle fluid? Twice, using WS 3) Did you replace the brake pads? Yes - all around at 97k 4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)? Don't track closely but likely low 50's 5) How often do you change your oil? What brand / product did you use? 5k, Toyota 0w-20 (the fabled TGMO) Both coolant loops at 97k using Toyota SLLC. I drain and fill the engine coolant bottle at each oil change and will replace engine water pump at 150k in an effort to go long term without head gasket failure. Driver's side transaxle seal and intake manifold de-sludge at 100k. Spark plugs and PCV valve 128k. Both the D0H and E0E have been performed. No oil or coolant consumption yet...
I'm over 122K. My 2012 hasn't required any repair except for factory recalls and 10K mile suggested maintenance items. I continue to be amazed and pleased with my silver Prius. I've never reset the Trip 2 meter and am at 51.2mpg. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I just hit 120,000 miles, have been doing nothing but an oil change car still running perfect. 1) Did you replace the HV battery pack? Nope 2) Did you replace the hybrid transaxle fluid?nope 3) Did you replace the brake pads?nope 4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)? 53 5) How often do you change your oil? What brand / product did you use? Dealership every 10k 6) How about post a picture of 100,000 miles on ODO?
Wow.....where has the time gone off to? I'm at 115,000 miles already..... My new work car is just getting broken in, and I'm no no longer driving the newest car in my work group. ......just the second newest. No leaks, creaks, cracks, or squeaks so far!(***) (***) OK....busted. It still creaks a lot but it did that when it was new.
2010 prius II with 100,230 miles Still on original HV battery Original 12v battery Original brake pads Currently on FRS wheel, mpg around 39-44mpg Change transmission oil at 50k miles Oil change around 10,000 miles DIY Im the second owner at 22k miles. My prius now live the infamous cancer: oil consumption from 85k miles
I notice your 2010 maintenance spreadsheet said just to inspect the transaxle fluid. What is your recommended replacement interval?
What is your oil consumption rate? Did periodic monitoring catch it or did a dash light let you know? What rates of speed do you hit on the highways?
