what's the conventional wisdom re: tires for this car? Last set I had were high performance Michelin, didn't last long, 215/50R17. Would like something for a little smother ride. Any suggestions?
No actual experience with these, so take it with a big ole grain of salt, but I was looking over tires that I'll probably get to replace mine when they wear out, probably next year, and I landed on these. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?&tireMake=Continental&tireModel=PureContact+with+EcoPlus+Technology&partnum=15VR7PURECXL&i1_Qty=4&i1_Qty=4&autoMake=Toyota&autoModel=Prius+v&autoYear=2012&autoModClar=Five&vehicleSearch=true They have great reviews on tire rack and I trust them a lot when it comes to tires. I'm still very pleased with these: BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S tires transform ride quality | PriusChat
Any chance you can send another link for this? This one is not working. Or just the name and model number of tire, thanks, JJ
I've been pleased with the Michelin Primacy as a good all-around tire with about 10k on them. Put the Conti Pure Contacts on my wife's Prius- she likes them, and they handle well, but they are a bit louder.
