I have a 2017 Two and the only thing I would suggest is that if you're going to get a Two, to get a 17 instead of a 16, because the 17 comes standard with the radar cruise control and the lane departure steering assist while the 16 doesn't. There may be some other standard features too.
I believe it has been proven here they use the same tires with more inflation. I believe the press releases indicate there is an electric cabin heater assist element in Eco and above. I personally wanted the spare. With the added standard safety features in 2017 I did not think the price difference between the two and three (the next model with a spare) was worth it.
But the power output of both is specificied the same. From the US 2016 brochure: Further, only the Eco has different mpg rating, level 3 and up are rated same as 2.
I don't know but I'm getting real tired of the angry flashing of lights at me everything I drive after dusk. Don't like that this car is causing me to blind drivers everywhere I go. I wouldn't take that hit on trading it in but I really wish I would have not made this mistake. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Yeah you can. But it seems weird, that so many are needing adjustment. And maybe pushing them down enough to avoid blinding issues will be compromising the Prius driver's illumination?
Mine need adjusting... I get flashed all the time... so I have my hand on the stalk while driving so I can flash back! I'll probably have them adjust when I go for 5k service... Adjust lights Turn off reverse beep hmmm...
I bought the 2016 Prius 2 non-eco version mainly because of the non-lithium battery. We know how reliable the nickel metal hydride is in the Prius application, and because of the no rear-wiper, and no spare tire, and extra $500+ price increase with the Eco, it didn't take much thought for me to just buy the plain ole 2.
We are similar but I found the standard safety features on the 2017 made the decision easier. To get those on a 2016 I would need to get a three with an additional package. Safety features were more important to me than the battery type.
The headlight assembly on my 2106 touring are crazy bright. Way over lamped. Ditto on the "getting flashed" comments. How do I ask a dealer to adjust them? I want to do this at my 10 K service.
