Blue lines on the instrument panel

I don't see any blue lines in your picture.

 

They often show up when the sun shines on the dashboard

 

This is what the manual says.

 

I don't think they exist, normally. Maybe startup or marketing?

 

I've noticed the same thing on mine, especially when the sun is shining on the instruments. Perhaps they are always there but they're not visible to me otherwise. Fine horizontal lines.

 

Okay, now I see them. They look like decorative dividers for the various displays.

 

They are not illuminated and purely decorative. I assume to make the warning lights and indicator areas more pretty when nothing is illuminated. They're hard to see unless in near-direct sunlight.
