Toyota Prius Prime is too new to have any ratings by JD Power yet. When the Initial Quality Study (IQS) result comes available I will post it here but I would like to start a thread to discuss the ratings by this world class survey company. I will subsequently post ratings of other Prius models past and present that are available in time. As a starter, Toyota is rated in the fourth after Kia, Porche and Hyundai in this IQS Overall Quality. Alex, what do the scale numbers mean? How many possible scale numbers are there? What is the best scale number?

Meh indeed. First time Toyota owner coming from a 12 year old Honda. I subscribe to the toaster on wheels theory, I care more about long term reliability (where I am banking on my new car to shine) than someone else's design ratings (which is where those low iaq ratings for the liftback are coming from)
