Ok, so after what seems a lifetime of waiting, I'm finally taking delivery of my shiny new gen 4 tomorrow . I did ask about the recall(s) and was told that all would be sorted before I took delivery! Hoping that this is the case!
Had my registration plate details through last week as well updated delivery to the dealer of Dec 21st-23rd so I suspect I will get it first week of Jan small chance between xmas and new year.

Mine was ordered 3rd August for mid December delivery but I got a nice surprise last week when told delivery was imminent and already off the ship, picked up my business edition plus on 15" wheels today and very pleased so far , the reverse beep was already set to just one beep although i didn't ask for it when ordered, I got two booklets for satnav and owners info but they were nowhere near as informative as the online version.. According to the online version there are numerous options to customise some settings inc beep volume for parking sensors, however in settings there were only two things to alter such as delay for interior light going out. are the other options not available on UK/EU versions or have I missed something?

Ordered my Business Edition Plus at the back end of July through Lex Autolease, and the dealer stock date is next Tuesday (5 months wait). As well as a PriusChat newbie, I'm a new car newbie so I'm not too sure how these things work. How long does it take roughly from the dealer receiving the car to it being available for collection? I was hoping to get it before christmas, but not sure if that's possible as Lex have advised me it can take 7-10 days for delivery. I thought I might be better off going to collect if it speeds up the process.
It varies by make and dealer, once the dealer has it in stock locally it shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 days to prep it for you. Whatever you do don't rush them, they do pre-delivery inspection checks (PDI) before they issue it and if they're rushing, some of these checks could get missed. If the dealer has it and it's been PDI checked but is just waiting for a delivery driver, then yes going to pick it up will speed things up.
How long does it take? Simple answer: too long. However, my dealer said usually seven days from the ship docking, but that's down here in SW UK. YMMV. I have a Biz Edition in red since October. There's a lot to get your head around, but I've no doubt you're going to love it.
Too long, tell me about it, I had to wait 7 days from order to pick up, disgusting . Ordered it Friday 18th March, told I could pick it up Wednesday 23rd March, I was too busy, so I picked it up on Friday 25th March .
Car is at the dealership and will be delivered on Jan 4th. I have asked that the reversing beep is switched to a single beep rather than the continuous beeping. Shame that everything is shutting down for Christmas otherwise I'd have it on Monday.
