Would anyone know if it's possible to use this display option but disable the score information on my 2017? I just want the upper part gauge and the battery status like it was on my 3rd generation. The scoring is rather ambiguous and doesn't really help with anything.
I removed everything! I got tired of the distractions. And the "score" and the little message at shut-down kept telling me I drive badly in the eco-mode, but I have very good eco-driving in the PWR mode. Go figure. I'm done with it. I don't even care anymore what my MPG is… I just refill the tank when I get down to 1/2. Driving is simple again.
I don't have nav so I can't do what you did but it looks nice like that. But I do like to have the gauge that shows ev, etc
If you select Split Screen, I think there is a similar gauge that you can get to the right of the speed. I sometimes set my right screen to alerts & it shown "No Message" most of the time. That is less distracting.
Yeah I tried it that way. I like this gauge better though than the one on the split screen. I guess I'll just live with the meaningless scores.
I don't think it's related to the navigation, keymusic. Press the right button on your steering wheel. And then scroll across the icons. You can eliminate the entire hybrid eco-gauge, but not just the score. And then try the split screen thing like prodigyplace suggested. I paid $27,500 for all this technology… And then I end up turning things off. Call me nuts.
Funny. I know you can turn it off, I was just talking about you had the compass, etc, so that was nice.
Yeah, I guess they are kind of a gimmick. Those scores. And I always laugh when I turn off the car and I get the message that says "Good Eco Driving!" (and I've been driving around all day in the POWER mode. )
How can I disable the pop-up window?? You know, the window that comes up when cruise control comes on and off, or the distance to the car in front of you gets too close?? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
You can turn some of those pop ups off, but the distance, etc. with cruise tends to stay on. Under Settings, there is a pop-up menu to disable what they let you.
It's in Meter Customization then Pop-up Display On/Off. It's in the dash screen settings, not the settings on the radio.
