Hi I just installed android head on my 2014 Prius and it was really easy installation. I only have problem with backup camera.there is a red wire I don't where to put it? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
If your question about how to hook up the camera to the head unit, you have to connect that wire to (+) wire of the camera. Keep in mind that, the head unit will not power the camera, that wire just for the signal from the camera so the head unit knows when the camera is in used. That took me a while when I installed my Android head unit.
I actually have questions about the wire that goes to back of your car lights .I researched and found to cut wire from your tail light and also put ground wire .Can someone give me a clear instructions on a PRIUS car how to do all these steps?If u have a link for PRIUS backup camera that works too.
