Got her a few days ago, 2013 five fully loaded. First real wash and (semi) detailed, looks brand new. I'm loving this car so far. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
There is nothing like the feeling of driving a nice clean car! Looks beautiful, and so does the scenery.
Thanks everyone! My father helped me clean and detail it (their place, not mine unfortunately haha). Now to see how long I can manage to keep it this nice! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
That is very popular color here in the USA. Very nice looking. My bright white paint seems to attract low-flying Seagulls... and they always leave me a "present."
It looks very nice. Just a suggestion: Try to wash your car with a low pressure hose, dry it with a clean chamois. Avoid automatic car washes as much as possible; they will scratch your clear coat and/or paint.
I always hand wash my cars using justva normal garden hose, and dry with a shammy. I know the perils of auto car washes and only use touch free laser washes if I need to (in the winter) Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I really wish it'd warm up around here. Might have to use a free carwash coupon from our dealership. But like you I never use 'em, they are somewhat superfluous I think, don't get the underside and rear wells. Our temps are barely above freezing, at the best, for about a month now. Unusual for the wet coast. And the salt trucks are going hammer-and-tong, so I would like to get the underside and wheel wells.
Very nice! I know what you mean about the gray! It grows on you (or at least it did me!) Here's my 2009 Gen II (Magnetic Gray) I bought it used back in 2014 - in this picture (taken just over a year ago) it had just been waxed ready for the winter (…and still had its summer shoes on) - Chuggy_fall4 | PriusChat
