Taking Delivery of my Prime, Have you?

Just picked up my Prius Prime in Blizzard Pearl with Moonstone interior. It was more gorgeous than what I had imagined once I saw it in person! The dealership told me it was the only Prime that will be available in Virginia. I said ya right, but they even said one of the other local dealerships was going to complain to Toyota since they would not be able to receive any. I guess even two other people tried to put in an order for a Prime at the same dealership I was at, and they had to turn them down. As some have mentioned, they told me most of the Primes are available in Maryland.

 

Very nice! I wouldn't have considered the trim, but now....

 

I also decided not to go with trim but on your car it looks cool.

 

Huskers, admit it. You ain't never gonna get that car. There is simply no path that leads from Japan to Nebraska.

I know but one can always dream (I am going to be the last guy in America to get a Prime...Most of you will be on to the next thing by then). My dealer did call and say the newest covered wagons were coming in next week. But they only pull two ox.

 

Still waiting for my car. I purchased it last Monday, but is waiting the paint film to be applied, which is on order. Supposed to be done by the end of the week. The suspense is killing me.

So mine just landed at the dealer this evening. Wasn't able to take delivery tonight as the service department was closed and was not able to perform the pre-delivery inspection. But, I will be taking delivery tomorrow evening after work! Can't wait!

 

Took delivery of my Prime last night. Love it!

Hello - I bought my Prius Prime Premium two days ago, but I hadn't even place an order! On the way home from the gym, we passed a white Prius Prime heading back to the Toyota dealership. We turned around and went there just so we could get a closer look since we were considering ordering one. It turned out this one was being prepped and the buyer was taking delivery later in the day but they had a silver one w/black interior which we liked and bought and took home that afternoon! We traded in a 2012 Prius 4. We got it with carpeted mats, door edge guards and wheel locks. It was great, no waiting! Oh, we live across the border in PA but we bought it from a dealership in NJ. Our PA dealer has none.

 

To follow up, I'll finally be taking delivery on Friday.

 

Those of you with the moonstone interior. does sunlight reflect off the dash material? I have always preferred a dark interior to limit the reflections. seeing my dash reflected on the windshield is annoying.

 

i drove the moonstone on a sunny day tuesday, didn't notice any reflection, and i didn't even have sunglasses on.
