I made the same decision, not enough to justify the Advanced price difference. Taking delivery of my Premium in a couple weeks! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Nah, I think Toyota is just spitting out Primes in various styles across the country. I don't think they're taking orders for them at this present time. Cars.com has daily updates of new Primes showing up at the dealerships. There's probably more Primes out there than what shown on Cars.com Because my dealer did not show up on Cars.com and they sold two Advanced (mine) and another one yet to be delivered (red)
Twin Primes on the UC Davis campus! Not identical though. Mine (right) has a black interior and his is Moonstone. Mine is Advanced, not sure of his. Is there a way to tell from the exterior? I should have looked at his speakers on the dash to see if there is a visible difference of the Premium JBL speakers.
I wounder why it's so hard finding full (I mean full !) technical specs about the Prime ? Searched the whole Internet and can't find them !
I allready downloaded that, but one important fact,at least to me is missing unfortunately ! Toyota had no problem at all to say the top speed of 2016 Prius is 112 mph,why are they hiding the information considering the Prime ? I know that may not be important for you in the US,but I do think that kind of formation belongs to the technical specs list . There are some signs that it has been reduced to ~101 mph for the Prime which would be a real shame,as in my opinion that thing allready looks fast from a standstill ! I'd hate to see this great car only be capable of going 162 km/h on our Autobahn, heck that's about how fast small cars like the smart can go and wouldn't suit a grown up 4,64 m long sedan !
I think toyota should have all of them with Fog light. This really annoying of them . They always do this. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Sweet! Hopefully the range of the remote fob is longer than in the Gen 3. It's hard to get much use of the Remote A/C function on my Gen 3 because the fob's range is short. Nice! It's an Advanced (foglights) oooh! That parking lot is a blast from the past! Buick Regal (early 2000s) Silver Mercury Grand Marquis (early 2000s) Red Mercury Grand Marquis (late 90s) Honda Element (mid 2000s) GMC Sierra (early 90s) Chevy Astro/GMC Safari (90s) Ford Taurus (late 80s/early 90s) Ford F-150 (late 90s) Ford Escort (late 90s) Ford Thunderbird (late 90s) Chevy Venture (early 2000s) GMC Vandura (80s)
Seems that pre-climate works 3 different ways . Plugged In,not plugged in with timer setting and by the fob ! Very good, now it would be nice to hear or read about how effective it is .
Yes I agree. Maybe this is over the top but if someone has an infra red digital thermoneter, they could make a short video, or a graph plot, showing the heater vent output temp from cold increasing over time for say 5 minutes. That, plus the ambient external temp would give an objective idea of how effective the heat pump is. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
