    no reported accident history.
    obviously high mileage.

Currently unknown: tire life, maintenance history, mechanic's review.

That can be hard to say because it's different in different locations. The best thing to do is do some research on used car sites and see what price range similar vehicles are going for near you.

Around here high mileage seems to be the thing that brings down the value of a Prius. So here that would probably be a $10-12K vehicle. With that many miles I'd be offering around $10K. But that's just my gut feeling.

If you have access to the carfax it should list the maintenance. When I recently purchased my 2011 Prius Four with navigation it had 63000 miles and the carfax showed dealer maintenance every 5000 miles plus recent brakes and verified one owner. It was worth the $12,900 I paid to the Toyota dealer from which it was initially purchased. Your vehicle might be newer with more bells and whistles but, with that mileage, service records, hopefully from a dealer, would be a critical break deal for me.

We recently purchased a '13 Prius 3 with 42k, nav, bluetooth and back up camera, Toyota certified for $14200. We felt good with the deal and I guess that is what matters in the long run. The certified cars have a 7 year 100k warranty, so we get 3.5 years and 58k miles of power-train warranty, not that we expect to use it.

Thanks guys. I saw an equivalent prius that sold far $11K with fewer miles but two model years earlier. My feeling is to start at $11K, with the sign-off of an independent mechanic, indication of proper maintenance, and 100k maintenance thrown into the deal.
