I checked with several dealerships in my area. All of them are only giving the $500 rebate to those in the military.

That needs to be reported to Toyota. Perhaps @Prius Team can assist you. They are Toyota's Prius marketing team.

With a California zipcode, I saw the rebate posted on the Toyota website towards the end of October but it has since disappeared. Just an additional data point: I went to the biggest dealership in the world (Longo Toyota) and they told me there was no rebate and they wanted MSRP.

Yep, even the website for Longo shows the incentive.

That the rebate is available seems pretty clear, and that the dealership is trying to keep it.

By the way, does Toyota or the dealership pay to have a car delivered ? I'm just wondering if the tacked on delivery fee that dealerships charge actually cover whatever they paid or if it is just straight profit padding.

it's on every sticker, so it goes to whoever paid for the transportation. i don't know if it's truck, rail, ship or everything from japan.

Thank you for the note on the rebate. My dealers site says "Loyalty" rebate. I'm making a query.

Promotions are regional. Check the fine print to see what, if any, are running in your region.

Oregon dealers are selling Primes as fast as they can get them. They"ll accept an order with a refundable deposit, but no guarantee when it'll be in, maybe 2-6 weeks. We were lucky to find a dealer with one, and it was the model and color we wanted. MSRP plus a long list of 99 & 44/100% useless items for the bargain price of $895. I looked at the salesman and said, "I'm not paying this." Then I shut up. Silence is a strong negotiating tool. I won. They had gotten three and sold them all in days.

Glad you got one! Can you tell me what city in Oregon you found one in? See any Blizzard White Premiums? Wish we had them in Washington, but at least if we can find one in Oregon we only pay the sales tax once in Washington.

There is a Magnetic Grey /Moonstone Premium sitting in the lot at Tuscaloosa Alabama...I was about to put deposit on but couldn't handle feeling like a Star Wars Stormtrooper with the interior!! Shawn (sales MGR) was a class act and selling at MSRP..right under 30K...I think I am stuck with a black interior unfortunately...although Hyundai starting to look better!

There are several listed on cars.com. I used a 97302 zip.

A Prime is listed by a Denver area dealer.

About $29,600 for the Advanced trim. I think a price mistake since the car is listed as having a HUD.

Cars.com said there was a Prime at the Toyota dealership in Lincoln, Ne today. I checked and there is not. So I guess you have to be careful with these sites.

I get the impression that cars.com sometimes knows about orders en-route and misclassifies them as arrived.
