Is my ignition damaged? It looks like it was pushed. I let someone drive my car and I am afraid they pushed the key too far. Im not sure. Sorry if this is the wrong thread to put this. Wasnt sure. Does your ignition look like this? I have a 2016. *edit* And now I see that lil red light and I wasnt seeing it before. Its the security light indicator.
Are you talking about the little lock symbol that flashes briefly every few seconds when the car is turned off? That's just the immobilizer, and that behaviour is perfectly normal. Forgive me, but between this and your other thread it really feels like you're looking for faults like Don Quixote tilting at windmills. If the ignition works fine then don't worry about it.
