    1) Battery will definitely cost over $1,000. At least $3,000, possibly more.
    2) You removed the engine but the high mileage transaxle and voltage inverter are still there. So you still have big points of failure.

    Nice out of the box thinking, maybe when that kind of battery costs only $1,000 it can be done.
