I saw this ad lastnight and had to take a look. They are advertising a G4 four for 22,299 and I get there and check the VIN and it is a two model. I call it to the attention of the sales manager and he said it was a mistake and found their website had other mistakes on the G4 and thanked me for bringing it to their attention and said they don't control their website, Toyota did. But it is still being advertised for the wrong price. I wish I could get the G$ for that price. Here is their site. AL New Toyota | Alabama Car Dealership | Auburn serving Montgomery
You right but it is their way to make a buck cause a lot of people don't know anything about pip features and the different model. They don't make mistakes. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
So that means Toyota or the Toyota distributor is false advertising. I see no disclaimer for errors in advertising. I wonder what your state law says. You probably could get the vehicle, if you are serious. Here is another strange "new" vehicle the the dealer has not corrected. New 2014 Toyota Corolla | Manassas, VA | Miller Toyota
I'm skeptical, about his gratitude that you called an "error" to his attention... Sounds like intentional bait-and-switch. Ask them to honour the price? They continue to advertise it.
You my want to check out Alabama | Truth In Advertising Will they sell you the car or face a $25K penalty?
From a practical point of view, probably not worth pursuing, just ends up in confrontation. But maybe there's some truth in advertising authority you could contact? I do not know.
^^ your state's Atty. General or county's equivalent might want to hear your experiences real real soon. You've either found a dealer practicing fraud, or is just plain stupid. Either way, you should be rewarded with a new car at whatever price he is continually advertising this for.

He thanked me for bringing it to his attention and even said there are 4 more mistakes on that site for the Prius'. Advertising 4 Model 4's and they only have a 4T.
now they announce it as 'yesterdays price' & you have to fill out a form to get the actual price. I guess that conforms with the law.... BION StarCaller
Well, it has been nearly a week now since I spoke to them about this and they are still advertising the G4 for 22,299. It looks like they are continuing the false advertising. Since I brought it to their attention and they admitted it was a mistake and haven't fixed it, it seems I should have a case against them.
