When the rear seat back is folded down, can you tell me how much of a verticle drop there is from the floor of the rear compartment? This will tell me how much filler is needed in case I want a level floor more than 33 inches long.

It drops around 3.5" but the seats angle up still. But a packing blanket would work to level that out

Ah sorry. It appears those are for the fasteners for the trunk lining. Nothing special.

double isn't almost exactly the same.:) there is definitely more radius in the hatch sill than on the gen 2 and 3.

Sounds like a lot of you are hoarders. Get rid of stuff. Life will be simpler.

We don't hoard, we're resilient. And we're ready for everything. Including stale supplies. Rotate your gas, your freeze-dried food, rotate your water & rotate your ammo.

I fly model airplanes. They have to fit, along with my field equipment.

I also have a family of four. We go on driving trips, sometimes for as long as two weeks. The car has to carry our clothes and other things for the trip.

    Got it?

Well, Toyota better hurry up with a Prius v Prime or something similar. Seems like that's what we're clamoring for (that or the midlife update of the Prime should include a lower cargo floor).

A V Prime would have to be available with a third row or don't bother for me.

How much is added to the length dimension when rear seats are down? Then I can compare to the length of a bike.

Around 28" added when seats are down. But that depends on seat position in the front. Mine were most of the way back.
