transmission oil/gear oil change

    hi I own a 2012 model toyota aqua (prius c Japanese spec) I imported it and it had done 30000 km....its mileage now is 60000km....should I now change transmission oil...keeping in view that temp in my city goes as high as 49 C in summers .....plus when should the engine plugs be changed

    I recommend to change the transoil at 100.000km and the spartplugs can go at least 150.000 to 200.000km
    But you can find these things in other topics on the forum.

    thanks guys but can u just give an input....does environmental factors like temperature ....dust level can have an impact on change interval for transmission oil

    It certainly may. Toyota did not specify an interval, so we are all just making up our own.

    An early transaxle fluid change is what I'd recommend, even at 10,000 mile or 12 months it'll come out suprisingly dark. Then you can stretch it. The second change will likely be a lot cleaner.
