Road debris took out my front bumper and don't have collision coverage on my plan. Going to do all the repairs myself, since it's just aesthetics. What is this white box in-front of the tire? I assume it holds fluid? Is it the windshield wiper reservoir?
That's what I'm thinking, the car drives fine, but I just needed to know if it was something super important. Maybe it's the rear windshield washer fluid/pump? I'm not seeing a part number on the actual part, nor am I finding anything on the internet.
I originally thought it was the windshield washer fluid tank, or the windshield washer reservoir. So I think that's a confirmation of my thoughts. I'm pretty sure right after the incident that I saw blue fluid in it (the windshield wiper mix from autozone). So hopefully that's all. It's going to be an adventure to repair. A semi kicked up a shredded tire, fortunately it was low and didn't come through the cabin! On the plus side, I get way better mpg. Like,10-7mpg better, hitting 55-56mpg to my average of 42-46. Maybe I'll leave it off.
