What colour have you gone for Nick? I took the blue one out & I thought that was a smart colour before opting for the red. When you've had a play I'd be interested in your first impressions of the motor.
Was just passing the dealership like you do, so popped in to check something on the showroom model and got the opportunity to quickly see the car. I was speaking with the fleet manager and they are selling lots of the 4th Gen, awaiting to be delivered including mine they had 5 greys, 1 blue and 1 red. Anyone ordering at the moment is getting February delivery times.
Latest hot poop! A spanking brand new, Hypersonic Red Prius Business Edition (nearest to US 3) with MY NAME on it has arrived at my dealer's at last. Just before the shop closed for the weekend so they'll be prepping it on Monday, which means I'll be chafing at the bit on Tuesday morning waiting for 'em to open up. Thanks to all of you who've taught me so much about Prii since I joined this forum. Thanks for the encouragement you gave me and so much more. Talk about euphoria! Gonna find a darkened room for a lie down.
Congratulations! We'll be expecting a delivery photo with a huge smile on your face as soon as they give you the keys.
New & the old, just done a 14 mile drive and from such a short run I'm impressed with the ride and the stereo, Metallic sound great.
Unfortunately not, my other half doesn't drive thankfully as if she had her way it would be hers and his. The Yaris goes back next week to the finance company, just need to get it serviced on Monday Leanne spotted the second part of the plate was Toyota Hybrid Vehicle
Great spot from swmbo. My choice was EO* so not very significant for anything to me. Still I'm sticking with a red car and still just as impatient for Tuesday!
Enjoy gents. Heard late December early January last week. So still a couple of months. I was behind one the other day at night and the rear, when lit up is very unique looking.
Not long now Ted. Hang in there. I'm tempted make my Gen 4 even more unique looking at the rear by adding a programmable red LED panel that would display my current trip MPG. When I come to a complete stop, it would scroll across, and say, "Visit priuschat.com for top tips, banter and comradeship"
Sorry to disappoint you Don, the day was dull and wet and my car was outside on the lot, so no happy snaps. Had a great day once the admin got sorted and we got under way. Temp was around 50F/10C a/c on auto and climate set at 20C/68F. Wipers going intermittently drove 15 minutes in city the rest highway between 20 and 75 mph on 15" Toyos. Forgot to note the stats when the day was over, but had a short 7 mile drive today and got the photos below. Haven't started a new thread because I realise I'm still hyper excited with the Prius and had to restrain myself as I'm nothing special. Certainly in this company! Can't seem to link the pics successfully. Trip B. 71.9 miles average 63.4 mpg and today's temp is 11C/51.8F
Cool. Don't restrain yourself, mate. Your views, opinions and experiences with the Gen 4 are just as welcome, as any other member of this club. I never imagined I would spend every journey in my car trying to beat the MPG I got the day before. It's strangely addictive, and PriusChat is MY outlet, where other people understand me, without judgement...
