Just purchased a prius at auction,no shift lever. Can anyone give me the part number or the price? thanks
Yes, there were 42 available. Manheim. Model 2's only due to them being rental cars (toyota rental). Apparently, the shifters are removed at the auctions and given to you with the keys since they are one of the first things to get stolen on cars at the auctions. The one I got is white w/11k miles on it. I paid about $9k less than market (ebay/autotrader/dealer).
OH NO!!!!, haven't you read here, you never buy a rental, have been mistreated and won't last without a lot of problems. /s I found out that I bought a rental and the brakes are already half worn out at 165K and already had to replace the left low beam headlight, I should have paid attention to the warnings.
Just a a quick note.I bought a car that said rental part of fleet in Carfax from a dealer Lexus. They have changed most of the part with brand new and I am happy.I was too panicked by rental but it depends where u got. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
