Hi everyone, I want to hardwire a rear-facing dashcam in my Prius and am looking for a 12V switched wire. The dashcam itself runs off of USB and so I need a 12V wire and then a 12V -> Usb converter and then USB to dashcam. I've done a similar project for my front-facing dashcam using the overhead rearview mirror wiring so I just need to find a 12V switched wire in the back of the car. Any pointers? (I saw some stuff about using the rear windshield wiper wire, but haven't seen any pictures or anything)
Yes, the wiper. I did this with my rav4. Use a voltage meter to find the wires you need. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
