I use 0w16 ENVIRO+ HYBRID Penrite oil from Australia and average mpg are better than previous 5w30. It's the thinniest you can find on the market for the moment. With best efforts I could reach 4.2L/100 before, now it's easy to get that and I can gain another 0.3L/100 and reach 3.9L/100. So yes 0w20 or 16 makes a great difference in FE.

The only issue is that for many who have high miles on their 2010, 2011 USA Prii are seeing oil burning. So the thought is that 0W-20 weight oil maybe too thin, and that using a 0W-30 weight or even a 0W-40 weight oil maybe better.

Yes, I've read that on the forum, I'll check my oil consumption cause even if I don't have a lot of miles, this kind of very light oil is prone to be burned by engines.

Agreed. I've used Mobil 1 in all my cars for 15 years now and in hot and cold it's been the best for me.
