I currently own a 2012 Prius Five with ATP. I recently started looking into plug in hybrids. I wanted to trade i my car for a 2013 - 2015 Prius Plug in Advanced. I noticed that the Plug in Advanced does not have Lane Keep Assist. I really like this feature and do not want to lose it. Is there anyway to add this to a Prius Plug in Advanced?
The next generation Prius Plug-in (Prime) will have a LKA option, whenever they decide to start selling the Prime.
I also own a 2013 Prius Plug In Advanced. I wish this vehicle had the LKA. I believe there was another thread on this topic somewhere on PC and it was discussed that "no it could not be added."
Toyota's LKA is horrible. Be glad you don't have it. Constant beeping as it finds and loses the lane markers. Makes the steering feel really weird without actually doing anything useful.
