iPhone Messaging Sync

    Having issues getting an iphone 6 plus to sync & receive text messages. It will pair fine, can make phone calls, use Pandora, Siri etc. but no messaging. Running iOS 9.3.5

    Have no troubles with Samsung S7 Edge

    Have tried unpairing, deleting , then repairing. No luck.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Same problem here. Only the ignore button is active. Make sure in the Bluetooth info on the phone that sync is on. I use Siri to say read new message and that works.

    Was able to get this working, finally. By going to the Bluetooth information settings on the iphone, turned Notifications on, then it finally worked.

    It only syncs texts from that pairing session though, not all messages on the phone. Is that an iphone thing? Android syncs all messages. Not a big deal...just curious.

    I find if I set up messaging, I have to set it up again the next time I start the car. Anyone else?

    FWIW that's the way it works on our 2016 Prius v Three with my iPhone 5s or my wife's iPhone 4.

    It is very iffy. Sometimes it works, most times not.

    I had no problem receiving and reading messages with my iphone 5s in my 2016 Prius, but I recently upgraded to an iphone 7 and I cannot get it to work. Any suggestions?
